Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the year. Everyone has the day off, there are no presents involved, someone else makes me a giant meal, and there’s football all day. Before the season, I was excited for the New York Giants hosting the Dallas Cowboys. At the time, it seemed like this game could be a key matchup for a Cowboys team competing for the division title and a Giants team that might have been close to a possible playoff spot.
Unfortunately, things can change greatly in the NFL over a few months and in this game, they’ve changed for the worse. Now, it is Thanksgiving, and we really should just be thankful to have football on while we stuff ourselves full of gravy and things covered in gravy.
So let’s try to stay positive and even better, bet on the first touchdown scorer so we can grab some cash early, turn the game off, and maybe even spend some time with our families. Here’s who I bet to score the first touchdown.
