Next 2025 NFL Draft: Day 2 Takeaways

Frank Gore announced Sunday that he was signing a one-day contract with the San Francisco 49ers so he could retire as a member of the team he played 10 years for. Gore last played for the Jets in 2020 at the age of 37. He first ran for 1,000 yards (1,695) as a second-year player in 2006, and then did it for the last time in 2016, when he ran for 1,025 for the Colts.

That was 10 years between his first and last 1,000-yard seasons. Today’s Quiz of the Day asks: Can you name the players who had the longest gaps between first and last 1,000-yard campaigns? Gore’s one, so you’re welcome for that little bit of help. How many more can you name? Take the quiz and see how you do!
