The NFL landscape continues to shift, as trades and injuries reshape fantasy football lineups around the league. There’s no way to predict injuries, unfortunately, but of you’ve been keeping up with our waiver wire watchlists over the past couple weeks, you could have found DeAndre Hopkins before he got sent from Will Levis in Tennessee to Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City. There isn’t an opportunity quite as obviously enticing as that one this week, but we can hopefully keep you a step or two ahead of the curve as player values continue to change.
This Waiver Wire Watchlist column uses Aaron Schatz’s DVOA metrics and FTN’s other advanced statistics and charting data to identify players whose short-term matchups make them compelling streamers and whose workload and efficiency trends have them poised for fantasy breakouts.
