Every Monday during the NFL season, the Injury Report goes through injuries around the NFL position-by-position as they relate to your season-long fantasy football teams.

Friday Update

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is no longer on the injury report, setting him up for a matchup with a Packers defense coming off having allowed 157 rushing yards to Jalen Hurts last week.

New York Jets running back Michael Carter is doubtful for Sunday with an ankle injury. That’s good news if you’re desperate enough to be using Ty Johnson or Zonovan Knight this week.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne is “good to go” for Week 13, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is still in the concussion protocol and is considered day to day. Ja’Marr Chase remains on track to play.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris says he’ll play in Week 13.

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku has been ruled out for Week 13. Harrison Bryant will pick up the slack at tight end in Deshaun Watson’s first game back.

Original Injury Run

Quarterback

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers left Sunday night’s game against the Eagles with a rib injury. Jordan Love relieved Rodgers and threw a long touchdown to Christian Watson. Rodgers is also dealing with a broken thumb. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Rodgers will continue to start as long as he’s able to, and Rodgers expressed similar sentiments about wanting to play as long as the Packers aren’t mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. His status is up in the air going forward.

Running Back

Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was questionable Sunday with a calf injury but managed to make his way through the game with over 300 total yards and three touchdowns, including an 86-yard run to win the game in overtime. After the game, Jacobs said his coaches didn’t want him to finish the game, and he had to convince them that he could keep playing. He should be fine for next week as long as he doesn’t have a setback.

Jaguars running back Travis Etienne left Sunday’s game against the Ravens with a foot injury, but his exit was mostly precautionary. Jaguars coach Doug Pederson said after the game that Etienne was cleared to go back into the game, but he decided not to risk further injury to his starting running back.

Jets running back Michael Carter left Sunday’s game against the Bears with an ankle sprain. Carter will undergo further testing Monday to determine the severity of the injury. If he’s suffered a high ankle sprain, that could keep Carter out for the next month. New York made James Robinson a healthy scratch last week, as Zonovan Knight and Ty Johnson split the work in the Jets backfield.

49ers running back Elijah Mitchell suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday’s game against the Saints. Mitchell already missed time earlier this season with a knee sprain, but this one is different. He’ll undergo further testing Monday to determine the severity of the injury.

Wide Receiver

Bears WR Darnell Mooney will undergo further testing Monday, but the fear is that he suffered a season-ending injury that will require surgery to repair torn ligaments in his ankle.

Rams WR Allen Robinson needs surgery on his foot and will miss the rest of the season. Robinson suffered the injury at practice on Friday.
