This is a great time to be a sports bettor. As sports betting becomes legal in more and more locations, the various sportsbooks are all vying for your business.

Targeting daily odds boosts bets can be one of the best ways to take advantage.

Four days a week, I’ll be highlighting some of the best odds boosts and where you can find them.

Wednesday’s odds boost piece will focus on a variety of sports. We’ll take a look at a few offerings for the MLB slate and an odds boost for one of the four NBA games on the docket. We’ll also look ahead to this week’s PGA tour event, which kicks off on Thursday.

If you’re looking for more value, make sure to subscribe for our platinum Fade the Noise Bets packages for the NFL, NBA, MLB and whatever other sports you’re interested in betting on.

Let’s dive in.

MLB Odds Boost

Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (3:10 p.m. ET)

Boosted bet: Trevor Story to homer and Rockies to win — +600 on BetMGM

The Rockies are playing at Coors Field Wednesday, and that usually means you can expect plenty of offense. The total on this game is currently listed at 12 runs, so this game looks like no exception.

The Rockies will be taking on right-hander Luke Weaver, who has been absolutely crushed to start the season. He’s pitched to a 12.19 ERA, and he’s also allowed 4.35 HRs per nine innings. Overall, the Rockies are listed as slight -114 favorites.

Story has traditionally been at his best vs. left-handed pitchers, but he still has plenty of pop vs. right-handers. He posted a .264 ISO vs. right-handers last season, and 26 of his 35 HRs come against traditional pitchers.

New York Yankees vs. Atlanta Braves (7:05 p.m. ET)

Boosted bet: Gary Sanchez or Gleyber Torres to hit a HR — +130 on FoxBet (was +110)

The Yankees don’t get the benefit of playing at Coors, but they’re still in a pretty good spot for offense. They’re taking on Braves’ right-hander Huascar Ynoa, who has pitched just 5.1 innings at the major league level.

Sanchez and Torres have both done plenty of damage vs. right-handers in the past, and both guys ranked in the top four on the Yankees in ISO vs. right-handers in 2019. Both guys have plenty of potential to go deep in this matchup.

NBA Odds Boost

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Miami Heat (8:10 p.m. ET)

Boosted bet: Heat win and Jimmy Butler over 19.5 points — +235 on DraftKings (was +210)

This is a nice little correlated parlay if you like Miami’s chances in this contest.

The Heat are currently listed as -148 favorites, and there has been loads of professional activity on them Wednesday morning. There have been two “steam moves” on the Heat — meaning large groups wagers hitting them at the same time — which has caused the line to move from +4 to -3. Overall, 64% of the money on this contest has been wagered on Miami.

Butler has averaged 20.1 points per game this season, so he is certainly capable of hitting the over on the scoring portion of this boost as well.

PGA Odds Boost

Wyndham Championship (7 a.m. ET Thursday start)

Boosted bet: Webb Simpson or Brooks Koepka to win — +600 on FanDuel (was +495)

The PGA tour is back in action this week, albeit with a much weaker field than last week’s PGA Championship. Simpson and Koepka enter as the two favorites, and this odds boost allows you to pair them both together.

Boosted bet: Koepka to finish top 20 — +100 on PointsBet (-125)

If you’re looking for a safer wager, consider Koepka to finish in the top 20. Koepka was in contention last week at the PGA Championship — he entered the final round tied for fourth place — so he can definitely get into contention again in a weaker field.
