This is a great time to be a sports bettor. As sports betting becomes legal in more and more locations, the various sportsbooks are all vying for your business.

Targeting daily odds boosts bets can be one of the best ways to take advantage.

Four days a week, I’ll be highlighting some of the best odds boosts and where you can find them.

Today’s odds boost piece will focus on the first Sunday night baseball contest of the year between the New York Mets and the Atlanta Braves. We’ll also take a look at some odds boosts for the NBA season restart, which kicks off Thursday with a doubleheader between the Jazz/Pelicans and Clippers/Lakers.

If you’re looking for more value, make sure to subscribe for our platinum Fade the Noise Bets packages for the NFL, NBA, MLB, and whatever other sports you’re interested in betting on.

Let’s dive in.

MLB Odds Boost

Atlanta Braves at New York Mets (7:08 p.m. ET start)

Boosted bet: Mets to win and Pete Alonso to hit a HR — +560 on FanDuel (was +440)

Sunday’s contest between the Braves and Mets is a toss-up, with the Mets checking in at just slight -109 favorites. New York will turn to newly acquired Rick Porcello, while the Braves will hand the ball to left-hander Sean Newcomb.

That matchup should work as a positive for Alonso, who raked against left-handers last season. He displayed plenty of power, posting a .354 ISO and clubbing 14 HRs over just 150 at bats.

NBA Odds Boost

Boosted bets: Los Angeles Lakers to meet the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals — +400 on FoxBet (was +310)
Any team to go 8-0 during the regular season — +500 on DraftKings (was +450)

The NBA restart is just around the corner. Each team will play an eight-game regular season, and the top eight teams in both conferences will advance to the postseason. The only wrinkle is the potential for a play-in game for the No. 8 seed. If the No. 9 seed is within 4.5 games in the standings, they will earn the opportunity to play their way into the playoffs. They’ll have to win two straight games versus the No. 8 to actually replace them in the playoffs, but it should create some added excitement.

There should be plenty of betting value during the regular season — you can check out some NBA futures bets here — and DraftKings is offering an odds boost if you think any team can go undefeated during the regular season.

You can also grab +400 on FoxBet if you think the Lakers and Bucks will meet in the NBA finals. They are the odds-on favorites in each conference, and both teams are almost assured to secure the No. 1 seeds. They also feature the top two MVP candidates in Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James
