This is a great time to be a sports bettor. As sports betting becomes legal in more and more locations, the various sportsbooks are all vying for your business.

Targeting daily odds boosts bets can be one of the best ways to take advantage.

Four days a week, I’ll be highlighting some of the best odds boosts and where you can find them.

Monday is a pretty light day in the world of sports. We still have some MLB and NBA action to choose from, but both leagues are offering less games than usual.

If you’re looking for more value, make sure to subscribe for our platinum FTN Bets packages for the NFL, NBA, MLB and whatever other sports you’re interested in betting on.

Let’s dive in.

MLB Odds Boost

Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (8:40 p.m. ET)

Boosted bet: Rockies win and at least 12 total runs scored — +300 on FanDuel (was +252)

Who doesn’t love some Coors Field baseball? It’s basically the closest thing we have to baseball being played on the moon. The combination of altitude and a huge outfield means runs are typically scored in bunches.

This odds boost is an interesting way to attack this game. The Rockies are currently listed at -136 and the over on 11.5 runs is -118. Parlaying those two bets together has “true odds” of just +220, so this is actually a pretty nice value.

NBA Odds Boost

Miami Heat vs. Indiana Pacers (8 p.m. ET)

Boosted bet: Heat win and Jimmy Butler at least 20 points — +250 on FanDuel (was +220)

Butler has missed each of the past three games for Miami, but he is expected to be back in the lineup Monday. He’s been the Heat’s most important player this season, leading the team in virtually every statistical category. He’s averaged just 20.2 points per game overall, but he’s obviously capable of scoring more than that in any given contest.

The Heat should also benefit from the Pacers’ current injury situation. Domantas Sabonis remains out after suffering a foot injury, and T.J. Warren is listed as questionable. Warren has been the driving force for the Pacers offensively during the restart, averaging 34.8 points per game. If he’s not in the lineup, the Pacers are going to have a very tough time scoring the basketball.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Buggers (9 p.m. ET)

Boosted bet: Lakers win and LeBron James at least 30 points — +500 on William Hill (was +400)

The Lakers entered the bubble as the favorites to win the NBA title, but they have been a massive disappointment in Orlando. They’ve gone just 2-4 over their first six games and have posted the second-worst Net Rating. The Wizards are the only team with a worse mark in that category, and they’re barely an NBA team at this point.

Part of the reason for their slow start is that they’ve had nothing to play for — they locked up the No. 1 seed in the West very quickly — but I think it’s time for them to flip the switch. No one wants to be playing poorly heading into the playoffs, so the Lakers could be on a mission today.

The Nuggets will also be shorthanded in this contest, with Gary Harris and Will Barton ruled out and Jerami Grant listed as questionable.
