The Dallas Cowboys lost CB Chidobe Awuzie in free agency Tuesday, but they did re-sign fellow CB C.J. Goodwin, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Cowboys have agreed to terms with CB CJ Goodwin on a 2-year, $3.5 million deal that includes $2 million guaranteed, per his agent @DrewJRosenhaus.

Goodwin, who turned 31 last month, will be entering his eighth season in 2021. He played for the Steelers, Falcons and Cardinals before landing with the Cowboys in 2018 and playing his last three years in Dallas.

Fantasy slant: Goodwin managed 16 total defensive snaps at linebacker or safety last season. He'll return to contributing on special teams for Dallas. He finished with six solo tackles last season while operating on kick-off and punt return coverage teams. – Derek Brown
