The Cardinals added some serious offensive line help Wednesday, trading for the Las Vegas Raiders’ C Rodney Hudson, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

The Raiders had announced their plans to release Hudson Tuesday, but the announcement drew trade interest and the deal got done. The three-time Pro Bowler heads to Arizona along with a pick swap, with a third-rounder heading to Las Vegas and a seventh coming back to Arizona.
Cardinals add O-line help, trade for Rodney Hudson
Fantasy slant: Hudson’s arrival in Arizona will be a welcome sight for Kyler Murray. Last season, Murray ranked ninth in quarterback hurries (55). Much of this can be attributed to then starting center Mason Cole, who was tied with the fourth-most hurries (22) allowed among all centers. Murray should have more time to pick apart opposing defenses this season, with Hudson protecting up front. — Derek Brown
