BREAKING NEWS: Trent Brown traded to New England

Share

After a two-year stopover with the Raiders, OL Trent Brown returned to the Patriots Tuesday, with Las Vegas and New England reportedly agreeing to a trade that would send Brown back to where he played in 2018, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

Brown, a seventh-round pick for the 49ers in 2015, played his first three years with San Francisco at right tackle. He was traded to New England for 2018 and moved to left tackle, where he played all 16 games for the eventual Super Bowl champions and parlayed that success into a four-year, $66 million deal with the Raiders. He made the Pro Bowl in 2019, but ultimately played only 16 of a possible 32 games with the Raiders as he missed time in 2020 to COVID-19 and injury.
