Early Thursday morning, Rob Gronkowski revealed in a video with TMZ that he plans on returning for the 2021 NFL season.
Analysis: Rob Gronkowski looks like he’s back in the saddle for another Super Bowl run in Tampa Bay for 2021. Tom Brady’s trusted red zone security blanket faded down the stretch during the regular season. Gronkowski was asked to shield Brady from pressure weekly as a blocker. He rebounded and stood tall when the stakes were highest with two touchdowns in the Super Bowl. Gronkowski finished as the TE8 last season on the strength of touchdowns. He finished second the team in red-zone targets (14) and will reprise this role for the Buccaneers next season.
