Awuzie has spent the last four years with Dallas after being drafted in the second round of the 2017 draft. He started and played all 16 games in 2019 but missed half of 2020 with various injuries.
Bengals help secondary, add Chidobe Awuzie
Fantasy slant: Awuzie will start alongside Darius Phillips and Trae Waynes unless the team also brings back William Jackson. Moving from Jackson to Awuzie would be a significant downgrade for a defense ranked 27th in pass defense DVOA last season. During his four seasons with the Cowboys, Awuzie allowed a 63.3% catch rate, 14 receiving touchdowns, and a 101.1 passer rating in coverage. — Derek Brown
