Media company Barstool Sports became an instant player in the sports gambling space the minute it joined forces with Penn National Gaming. This is where Barstool Sportsbook was born. They launched first in Pennsylvania and will soon be available in many more states.

Barstool Sportsbook Deposit Bonus

The deposit bonuses change frequently, but you can usually find one for a risk-free first bet up to $500 upon deposit. They have some other offers for a free $10 bet for signing up and have had deposit bonuses as well. Barstool uses their platform to promote the sportsbook and they offer all kinds of promotion in conjunction with their content.

Bets Offered at Barstool Sportsbook

Barstool offers a full betting menu. You can play spreads, moneylines or totals on all major sporting events. They do offer futures wagers on teams and individual players. You can bet teasers and parlays, the latter of which they promote heavily.

Sports You Can Bet on at Barstool Sportsbook

You can bet the same things at Barstool Sportsbook that you can at most major sportsbooks. The offerings may end up with some slight differences due to local restrictions, but for the most part they have a robust betting menu in the states where they currently operate.

Does Barstool Sportsbook have a mobile app?

They do have an app, a newly designed one they just rolled out in September. The initial APP was a legacy of the Penn National Gaming and was quite cumbersome to operate. The new APP is much cleaner and more fan friendly for the upcoming boom. It is available for both Apple and Android devices.

How to Download on iOS

The iOS download is easy and straightforward. Just go to the app store and type in Barstool Sportsbook and you will be directed to it. Once you download you still need to sign up if you do not already have an account. Once you sign up, just sign in through the app and start wagering.

How to Download on Android

On Android phones, the easiest thing to do is just go to the sign up page in your browser. At the end of the sign up process, the final screen has a graphic with downloads for both iOS and Android. Click the android one, wait for the download, allow permission, and then sign in.

How Do I Deposit at Barstool Sportsbook?

Barstool has quite a few ways to deposit money into your account. They accept debit and credit card transactions, Apple Pay, Google Play+, Paypal, PayNearME, Wire Transfers, Online Banking deposits, ACH/eCheck, and physical deposits at Penn National.

Barstool Sportsbook Review

I have some mixed feelings about Barstool sports book so far. The app redevelopment was sorely needed, and the new one is way better than the original. Penn is not the most competitive in terms of pricing bets, as you can find better prices on most of their competitors. The technology has improved, but it is still behind industry leaders like FanDuel and DraftKings. I have no doubt they will hang around and become more popular with the media company behind them, but it is not the friendliest place for betting and winning.

Barstool Sportsbook Frequently Asked Questions

Is Barstool Sportsbook legal?

They are 100% licensed and legal in the jurisdictions where they operate. They use geolocation software on mobile to make sure customers are located within those designated states in order to wager.

Where can I play Barstool Sportsbook?

Barstool was only in Pennsylvania for much of 2020, but the rollout of other states is fast and furious now. The plan calls for another state to be added every month or so throughout the year. Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia, New Jersey, Virginia and Michigan are all on the list. Each of those States should be operational for Barstool by the middle of 2021 at the latest. I have no doubt any additional states to legalize sports betting will have Barstool waiting to start offering wagering.
