Justice Hill Sits Out Tuesday's Practice

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill (concussion, illness) was listed as a non-participant in the first Week 18 practice on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rasheen Ali (hip) was listed as limited. Hill suffered a concussion in Week 16 and was unable to play in last week's blowout win over the Houston Texans on Christmas Day on Wednesday. Head coach John Harbaugh said on Monday that the team was expecting the 27-year-old to play in the Week 18 regular-season finale this Saturday against the division-rival Cleveland Browns, but it appears that Hill hasn't quite passed the league's concussion protocol. Derrick Henry is Baltimore's clear lead back, but with Hill still not practicing, the rest of the team's backfield is up in the air heading into the matchup against the Browns. Hill will need to practice on either Wednesday or Thursday to have a shot at playing on Saturday. If he's out again, Keaton Mitchell should be the RB2.

Charlie Kolar Hopeful To Return In Week 18

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (arm) has been designated to return from the injured reserve on Monday. Kolar has missed the last four games after fracturing his forearm in Week 12. The team will evaluate his progress in practice, but Kolar is hopeful to get back on the field this weekend. If active, Kolar will serve as the third tight end for Saturday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Kolar wasn't bringing much to the table before the injury. He has one reception or less in every game besides one this season. He won't offer much fantasy value, but having him would provide depth at the position.

Ravens Say Justice Hill Will Play On Saturday

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said on Monday that running back Justice Hill (concussion, illness)is just sick and will be available to play in the Week 18 regular-season finale on Saturday against the division-rival Cleveland Browns. Hill did not play on Christmas Day last Wednesday in the blowout win over the Houston Texans due to a concussion, but he's apparently cleared the league's protocol and will play in a game that the Ravens must win to clinch the AFC North division title. The 27-year-old could have his practice repetitions limited this week, and as long as he doesn't suffer a setback, he should return to his role as the change-of-pace, pass-catching option behind starter Derrick Henry in Baltimore's backfield. In half-PPR scoring, Hill has averaged 7.1 points in 15 games in 2024 with 47 carries for 228 yards and a TD while adding 42 catches for 383 yards and another three touchdowns.

Cooper Rush Inefficient In Blowout Loss

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush struggled to get going in Sunday's 41-7 blowout loss against Philadelphia. Rush completed 15-of-28 passes for 147 yards, tossing a touchdown and two interceptions on the day. He also rushed once for a two-yard gain. The career backup has been up-and-down since replacing Dak Prescott (hamstring) in Week 9, with this week's showing being one of his lowest points. Rush will start one final time in Week 18 against the Washington Commanders.

Cooper Rush Is Off Fantasy Radar For Week 17

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush has had an up-and-down season, typically stringing together stronger performances against weaker defenses. Philadelphia boasts the eighth-strongest defense against opposing quarterbacks fantasy-wise, making a tough matchup for the career backup. To make matters worse, CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season. Rush will now rely on a makeshift receiver room of Jake Ferguson, Brandin Cooks, and Jalen Tolbert against one of the best secondaries in the league. Look elsewhere for quarterback production during fantasy championship week.
