Our fantasy football rankers are some of the best in the business, but that doesn’t mean they always agree. Twice a week, our rankers will highlight some names they are furthest from the staff consensus fantasy rankings on and explain why you should either be targeting those players or steering clear in your 2024 drafts.

3 You’re Too Low On for 2024

Zack Moss, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Staff ranking: RB30
My ranking: RB26

I’m not a Moss truther — I think he’s as close to JAG as you can get — but I have to stick to the principle of this article, which is finding players I’m higher on than the rest of the FTN rankers.

Enter Moss.

Listen, I have him ranked RB26 — so flex territory or top-end benchwarmer. I’m not advocating for him to be your league-winner, but that’s not to say there’s nothing to like. He’s the presumed starting running back for an elite offense that should be in scoring position often in every game.

The Bengals gave him a two-year, $8 million contract, and the rest of the RB room poses no serious threat. People will hype up Chase Brown, who certainly has receiving upside, but Brown was the 163rd overall pick in last year’s draft and isn’t a threat to early-down or goal-line work, which is where most of Moss’ value should come from.
