Our fantasy football rankers are some of the best in the business, but that doesn’t mean they always agree. Twice a week, our rankers will highlight some names they are furthest from the staff consensus fantasy rankings on and explain why you should either be targeting those players or steering clear in your 2024 drafts.
3 You’re Too High On for 2024
Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Indianapolis Colts
Staff ranking: 34th overall, WR19
My ranking: 47th overall, WR25
As mentioned in the Sleepers, Busts and Bold Predictions series, I’m down on Michael Pittman Jr. this season. As you’ll see via the Splits Tool below, Pittman received a lot of volume when Gardner Minshew took over for Anthony Richardson. The Colts are an up-tempo team, and I love Shane Steichen as a playcaller, but Indy will be a run-first squad. And they added Adonai Mitchell in the draft. I also think Richardson has work to do as a passer. For what it’s worth, I also think Richardson is getting overdrafted. I know, I’m no fun!
