Mark Medina of TheSportingTribune.com reports that Utah Jazz guardJordan Clarkson(foot) will miss the remainder of the season after having a procedure to address the plantar fasciitis in his left foot. The 32-year-old was removed from the Jazz injury report on Sunday and played against the Cavs, posting 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one block across 22 minutes, but he hasn't suited up since. He had been out of action for over two months dealing with the foot injury. Clarkson only played in 37 games in the 2024-25 campaign, posting averages of 16.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists across 26.0 minutes per contest.

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (conditioning) will not be available on Thursday against the Houston Rockets. He has recently missed time due to an illness and is now working on his conditioning to return to game shape. Markkanen will be out for a fifth consecutive game. Kyle Filipowski, Cody Williams, and Brice Sensabaugh will continue to have extra fantasy value on Thursday night. The former two have recently been part of the starting unit, although Williams has struggled to make a positive impact, shooting 34.1 percent from the field this month.

Filipowski stands out as the best fantasy option, as he has joined the starting unit, where he averages 13.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

Svi Mykhailiuk and Isaiah Collier should see increased roles with Clarkson on the sideline. Collier is the much better streaming choice between the two players for Friday's slate.
