SuperDraft NBA DFS Picks (2/4)

SuperDraft is one of the hottest platforms in the market for DFS players. SuperDraft offers a unique twist on your traditional DFS experience with game modes like “Multiplier” and “Super 15.”

By eliminating the traditional salary cap structure and providing a points multiplier for every player on the slate, there is almost limitless flexibility when building lineups on SuperDraft. You can load up on all of the studs, but their point multipliers will be low. You can balance those plays out with some long shots that could score up to 2x their fantasy points to vault you to the top of the leaderboards.

If you haven’t played at SuperDraft yet, new users can get an instant $100 match with promo code “FTN” by following these steps.

  1. Sign up at SuperDraft.
  2. Enter the promo code “FTN”
  3. Provide your credentials to register.
  4. By using the “FTN” promo code when depositing, you will get a $100 match instantly of any deposit of $100 or more.
  5. Use this $200 worth of SuperDraft balance to fund your account and be playing in the lobbies.

This is the best promo code you can find, so be sure to use “FTN” and you will essentially double your deposit at SuperDraft. Then come back to FTNDaily and check out our daily SuperDraft content.

As either Zac Graham or I will continue to do all throughout the NBA season, I will provide you with my three favorite options on SuperDraft DFS for the slate at hand. In this case, we have nine games on tap Friday.

Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn Nets (@ UTA)

Score multiplier: 1.2x

With both James Harden and Kevin Durant ruled out, Brooklyn will be a one-man show led by Kyrie Irving as they battle with a Western Conference contender in the Jazz. While this game, on paper, looks like it could blow out, Vegas thinks otherwise, as the Jazz are only favored by 5.5. This is, in large part, due to the absence of Rudy Gobert and the fact that Utah has lost 11 of their last 14 games and rank 24th in the NBA in defensive rating over their last 15 games.

Using the FTNDaily splits tool, we can see that Irving sees an astronomical bump with the aforementioned stars off of the court:

Pacing for over 50 fantasy points per game in this scenario, Irving sets up nicely with a 1.2x multiplier despite what looks to be a tougher matchup on the surface.

Thaddeus Young, San Antonio Spurs (vs. HOU)

Score multiplier: 1.85x

Thaddeus Young, in 2022? You bet. With both Jakob Poeltl and Jock Landale ruled out for the Spurs, Young has seen a spike in his recently dormant playing time. Drawing the start at center last game, Young posted seven points, eight rebounds, a trio of assists and a pair of steals en route to just over a SuperDraft point per minute. Assuming Young draws his second consecutive start, he matches up well against this up-tempo Rockets team, per advanced DvP:

Jarrett Allen, Cleveland Cavaliers (@ CHA)

Score multiplier: 1.3x

Any time you have a dominant center going up against the Hornets, they deserve your attention. Per aDvP, the Hornets rank 25th against rim protectors and 29th against rebounders, while also allowing the seventh-highest field goal percentage within six feet of the basket (64.5%).

Allen posted a 24-point, 16-rebound double-double when these teams last met in November while adding a trio of blocks and could again be more involved offensively with Darius Garland ruled out. With a 1.3x multiplier, Allen is my favorite GPP center on the slate, especially considering that Joel Embiid has forward eligibility to play alongside Allen.
