SuperDraft NBA DFS Picks (1/21)

SuperDraft is one of the hottest platforms in the market for DFS players. SuperDraft offers a unique twist on your traditional DFS experience with game modes like “Multiplier” and “Super 15.”

By eliminating the traditional salary cap structure and providing a points multiplier for every player on the slate, there is almost limitless flexibility when building lineups on SuperDraft. You can load up on all of the studs, but their point multipliers will be low. You can balance those plays out with some long shots that could score up to 2x their fantasy points to vault you to the top of the leaderboards.

If you haven’t played at SuperDraft yet, new users can get an instant $100 match with promo code “FTN” by following these steps.

  1. Sign up at SuperDraft.
  2. Enter the promo code “FTN”
  3. Provide your credentials to register.
  4. By using the “FTN” promo code when depositing, you will get a $100 match instantly of any deposit of $100 or more.
  5. Use this $200 worth of SuperDraft balance to fund your account and be playing in the lobbies.

This is the best promo code you can find, so be sure to use “FTN” and you will essentially double your deposit at SuperDraft. Then come back to FTNDaily and check out our daily SuperDraft content.

As either myself or Zac Graham will continue to do all throughout the NBA season, I will provide you with my three favorite options on SuperDraft DFS for the slate at hand. In this case, we have 11 games on tap Friday.

Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat (@ ATL)

Score multiplier: 1.15x

Despite playing only 15 minutes last game due to an ejection, Jimmy Butler is primed to bounce back against one of the worst defensive units in basketball Friday. With Kyle Lowry out this season (six games), Butler has nearly averaged a triple-double, averaging over 16 combined rebounds and assists per game. In addition to Lowry being ruled out, Tyler Herro has also been ruled out as he’s entered the health and safety protocols. With both guards out, Butler should assume even more ball-handling responsibility than he already has against a defense that ranks bottom-five in defensive rating. A 1.15x multiplier may not seem like it, but with Butler’s floor/ceiling combination, it’s a remarkable value.

CJ McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers (@ BOS)

Score multiplier: 1.3x

With two games under his belt since returning from his injury, CJ McCollum has had his minutes start to normalize, logging nearly 33 last game. In four games last season with Damian Lillard out, McCollum averaged over 25 raw points on a 33.51% usage rate, following that up with 21.5 points and a 31.11% usage rate this season in six games without the star point guard. Despite the emergence of Anfernee Simons, McCollum has maintained his alpha status with Lillard out. Assuming he gets back to his normal minutes allotment, 1.3x is simply a misprice.

Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets (vs. MEM)

Score multiplier: 1x

Base multipliers are never extremely attractive, but it doesn’t matter with Nikola Jokic. He approached 100 SuperDraft points (yes, 100) last game with a 40-point triple-double as he continues to be the Nuggets’ only chance of competing. Despite how good Memphis has been, nothing has been able to slow down the reigning MVP, making him my “spend up” of choice Friday.
