Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (back) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Detroit Pistons. He sat out Sunday's contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a back problem and is not ready to return for Monday night, with the team downgrading Murray's status from questionable to out. Trey Lyles figures to remain in the starting lineup as Murray's replacement. He had a fairly quiet outing against the Cavaliers on Sunday, finishing with seven points, eight rebounds, and two steals in 40 minutes. However, the Pistons had trouble stopping Lyles in this season's first head-to-head matchup when he fired in four three-point bombs during a 20-point effort.

Sacramento Kings guard Keon Ellis (hand) has been a popular addition down the stretch of the fantasy basketball season, but has been listed as questionable for the team's Monday night game against the Detroit Pistons. The scrappy, defensive guard has only missed two games this season and played 39 minutes in their last contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers. If he's unable to play, that would likely force Malik Monk back into the starting five after seeing just 20 minutes Sunday when he registered eight points, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, and four turnovers. Devin Carter would likely see a bump in minutes as well, but his production has been too inconsistent to be used as a streamer or in DFS lineups.

Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (back) has been tagged as questionable for Monday's matchup with the Detroit Pistons while he deals with back soreness. Murray has only been forced to miss three games all season, and this could be his second consecutive absence due to the back issue. While he sat out their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Trey Lyles moved into the starting lineup and received 40 minutes. In that time, he posted seven points, eight rebounds, one assist, and two steals while shooting 2-for-6 from the floor. Lyles isn't a great option for streaming or DFS lineups even if Murray doesn't play, so fantasy managers should take a look at some different teams for that purpose.

James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports that Sacramento Kings forwardJake LaRavia (thumb) was diagnosed with a bone contusion in his left thumb Friday and will be re-evaluated in seven to 10 days. The 23-year-old will now likely miss the next four Kings contests. He could potentially return on April 6 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. While LaRavia is out of action, veteran forward Doug McDermott and Trey Lyles will likely be in line for expanded roles and extra minutes on the floor.

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (illness) will return from a three-game absence on Thursday against the Trail Blazers. Sacramento has lost four-straight contests, so the Kings need to get it together if the team hopes to remain in the Play-In conversation. Fortunately, Monk, who has averaged a career-high 18.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.0 steals, will be back on the floor. However, his return means Keon Ellis, combining for 46 points in the last three games, will head back to the bench.
