Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic (calf) will suit up to meet the Timberwolves on Friday. The 29-year-old logged 31 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Cavaliers. But he popped up on the injury report because of calf soreness. However, the Suns need every win they can get, so it will take more than that to keep Nurkic off the floor. He struggled the last time he faced Minnesota, finishing with just three points. While there's a good chance Nurkic will play better this time around, the injury could limit his workload enough to lower his fantasy ceiling.

Charlotte Hornets center Nick Richards (foot) isn't ready to return to the lineup on Friday against Orlando. The team has downgraded Richards from questionable to out, resulting in his third consecutive absence. Grant Williams has moved to the starting unit as Richards' replacement. The 25-year-old has averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in the role. He's likely to start again on Friday, with Charlotte short of options at the center position.

Charlotte Hornets center Nick Richards (foot) is questionable for Friday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. The 26-year-old has been the Hornets' starting center since Mark Williams (back) went down a few months ago. He's played well with the first five, averaging 10.1 points, 8.8 boards, and 1.2 blocks in 51 starts. Richards missed the last two games because of a foot injury, so if he remains out, Grant Williams (ankle) could remain in the middle. But if he can't suit up, Aleksej Pokusevski, Davis Bertans, or JT Thor could see more work. However, it's hard to tell which player will see the most action.

Washington Wizards point guard Tyus Jones (back) will remain out of the lineup against the Trail Blazers on Friday. This will mark his 12th consecutive absence due to a back problem and there is no timetable for his return. Jones' injury has helped Jordan Poole get back into the first unit, and he should get free rein on offense against Portland. Poole registered 29 points, two rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 34 minutes on the court one game ago against the Lakers.

Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic (calf) is listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The big man is back on the injury report due to left calf soreness. If he sits, Drew Eubanks is expected to move into the starting five during Friday's game. He'd be worth looking at as a streaming option if given the starting nod. Thaddeus Young would also see more minutes, but wouldn't be as viable of an option.
