Pace and Projections – NBA DFS Game Stacks (12/17)

Pace is everything in NBA DFS. In my opinion, this is true for three reasons:

1. Faster pace means more possessions, which mean more opportunity for fantasy production.
2. Pace is more predictable than offensive efficiency, which is dependent on shooting variance.
3. Certain players thrive in faster environments, leading to the holy grail of DFS — contrarian options whose true expectations are just as good or better than chalky option.
