Denver Nuggets point guard Reggie Jackson (calf) has been listed as probable for Thursday's marquee matchup against the Warriors. The veteran is dealing with tightness in his left calf, but Jackson has been pushing through the issue lately and should also be good to go on Thursday. Jackson has done well in a reserve role in Denver, posting 12.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 4.4 assists. However, Thursday's matchup is a tricky spot for him, as Golden State has allowed the second-fewest points in the league to opposing benches this season. Jackson was limited to only two points in the last head-to-head meeting on Christmas Day.

Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II is expected to miss several weeks with a left hamstring strain. He has just returned from missing a month with a calf injury, and Payton II, unfortunately, lands back on the shelf after playing only a total of 20 minutes in two games. The 31-year-old has been limited to 16 appearances overall this season. Payton II's injury problems have helped rookie Brandin Podziemski nail down a regular spot in the rotation. He's logged at least 28 minutes in six consecutive games and will look to post a seventh consecutive game with double-digit points on Thursday versus Denver.

Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II sprained his left ankle in Wednesday's 126-97 win over Portland and exited the game after logging only 19 minutes. He failed to score but made a big difference defensively with three blocks and two steals while notching four rebounds and four assists. Lively II also missed some time last month due to a left ankle sprain. Dwight Powell made three starts in his absence. The Canadian big man wasn't very productive in the role, settling for 5.3 points and 5.0 rebounds in 21.7 minutes. Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd has described Lively II's ankle sprain as "mild," so it looks like he's avoided long-term injury.

Dallas Mavericks forward Grant Williams couldn't finish Wednesday's game against Portland due to a right ankle sprain. He logged 15 minutes in a blowout win, scoring two points while registering two rebounds and two assists. Dallas has a rematch with the Trail Blazers scheduled for Friday night, so Williams has to recover quickly if he doesn't want to miss any games. The former Celtic has been coming off the bench lately, and his absence won't have a major impact in fantasy basketball, although the rest of the second unit, spearheaded by Tim Hardaway Jr., will have a chance to soak in a few extra minutes of action without him.

Orlando Magic guard/forward Franz Wagner played only five minutes in Wednesday's double-overtime thriller against Sacramento, exiting early with a right ankle sprain. Wagner finished the contest with six points and two rebounds. He's been a key man all year of the Magic, with averages of 20.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.9 assists. X-rays on Wagner's ankle came back clean, but he could still miss some time. Caleb Houstan and Chuma Okeke saw extra action without Wagner on Wednesday. Orlando returns to action on Friday in a matchup versus Denver.
