Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (foot) finds himself with a questionable tag ahead of Thursday's matchup against Orlando. The Atlanta-born giant has been ever-present for Utah since Dec. 11 but might have to come out of the lineup on Thursday due to a right foot sprain. The Jazz have a pretty crowded frontcourt, but Kessler has been getting consistent work as a backup center. He's posted 8.4 points and 7.3 rebounds with 2.7 blocks in 23.2 minutes this season. Kessler's absence could help Omer Yurtseven back into the rotation, but starting bigs Taylor Hendricks, John Collins, and Lauri Markkanen should soak in most of the available minutes.

Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game against Utah. He missed Tuesday's encounter with Brooklyn due to a left knee strain and is now in the middle of a bout with an illness. Joe Ingles and Moritz Wagner figure to receive a bigger workload if Isaac remains unavailable. Wagner is by far the better fantasy option and doesn't typically need a lot of time on the court to do damage. He racked up 16 points, five rebounds, two steals, and one block in 19 minutes against the Nets.

Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas (ankle, foot) is officially listed as out ahead of the team's game Thursday against the Hawks. The 22-year-old sustained an ankle injury during Monday's game, compelling him to sit out on Tuesday. The severity of the injury remains uncertain, but Thomas will miss his second consecutive game, with his next opportunity to play being the Saturday rematch against Atlanta. In his absence, Dennis Schroder, Lonnie Walker, and Ben Simmons are expected to see increased minutes or usage. Thomas boasts averages of 20.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game in 29.8 minutes this season.

Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's meeting with Cleveland. He hurt his right hamstring in Tuesday's 105-95 loss to Detroit and might have to give it rest to get back to 100 percent. Caruso's absence would open up a spot in the starting unit, with Dalen Terry and Jevon Carter the likeliest candidates to step into the role. Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) is officially listed as out ahead of the team's game Thursday against the Bucks. The 22-year-old will miss his 16th-straight game due to the ankle ailment, despite having returned to practice a week ago. Given the trajectory of Charlotte's season, the organization is likely prioritizing his long-term health. Tre Mann should continue to start in his place, and Ball's next opportunity to play will be on Sunday in Toronto. Ball maintains impressive season averages of 23.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 8.0 assists in 32.3 minutes per game.
