Sacramento Kings forward/center Domantas Sabonis (illness) is doubtful heading into Thursday's meeting with the Spurs. He didn't practice on Wednesday, so most had assumed things were moving in this direction. However, now that he's officially doubtful, fantasy managers should start making alternative arrangements. Nonetheless, De'Aaron Fox should take on more of the scoring load without Sabonis in the mix. But guys like Malik Monk, Keegan Murray, and Harrison Barnes should also benefit offensively.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) won't play against the Warriors on Thursday. The multi-time MVP has battled an ankle injury of late, with multiple reports indicating he's received treatment for it. He did log 14 minutes in the All-Star game on Sunday evening. However, the Lakers are looking to make a postseason push, so the team will need James at 100%. Nevertheless, Anthony Davis (Achilles, hip), assuming he plays, is a lock for all fantasy lineups without James on the floor. On the other hand, Rui Hachimura, D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, and Spencer Dinwiddie should all get more chances on the scoring end.

Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) won't play on Thursday against Utah. Ball has missed more than a few games this season. However, his latest ailment, right ankle Tendinopathy, has kept him off the floor for Charlotte's last 11 games. At this point, nobody can say for certain when Ball will be back in the lineup. But until that happens, Tre Mann, averaging 13.7 points, 7.3 assists, and 7.0 rebounds in three starts with the Hornets, is undoubtedly worth adding to any fantasy lineup.

Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (nose) is anticipated to suit up for Thursday's clash with the Suns. The rookie suffered a nose injury and needed a procedure to correct it, forcing him to miss seven games. He returned on Wednesday versus the Spurs, Dallas' final game before the All-Star break. Unfortunately, Lively came off the bench for that one and ended the night with eight points and five rebounds throughout 17 minutes. With Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington now in the equation, it will be interesting to see how the minutes are distributed for the guys underneath the basket. For now, Lively is still worth a start in fantasy leagues. But there's a chance his stock could significantly decline moving ahead.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (nose) is listed as probable for Thursday's matchup with the Phoenix Suns. As expected, the 24-year-old has had an MVP-caliber season, averaging a career-high 34.2 points with 9.5 assists, 8.8 boards, and 1.4 steals. He's also shot 37.5% from deep, his best mark since entering the league in 2018. Doncic suffered a nose injury before the All-Star break thanks to an inadvertent elbow from Kyrie Irving. However, he should be good to go, which is certainly welcome news for fantasy managers.
