Cade Cunningham Officially Active On Sunday

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) is officially active ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. The 22-year-old has carried injury designations since returning from an eight-game absence caused by a knee issue. However, he's mostly been available, so fantasy managers likely weren't overly concerned. At any rate, Cunningham has logged at least 30 minutes in three games since returning from the lengthy layoff. But he's had some issues finding the bottom of the net, although that shouldn't keep him out of any fantasy lineup.

No Update On OG Anunoby

According to Tim Bontemps of ESPN, New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (elbow) remains without a return date. The former Raptor has missed the team's previous four games because of elbow inflammation, and it appears there's a realistic chance he won't play on Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies. It's a tough blow for the Knicks and Anunoby, with the 26-year-old averaging 15.6 points, 1.8 steals, and 1.1 blocks since the trade that sent him from Toronto to New York. At any rate, until Anunoby is cleared to return, Precious Achiuwa, averaging 12.3 points, 1.5 blocks, and 1.0 steals in four starts this season, is worth streaming in any fantasy format.

Portland Not Looking To Trade Jerami Grant

According to James Ham of Kings Beat, Sacramento inquired about the availability of Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant. However, the Trail Blazers aren't looking to move him. Grant has also made it clear he wants to remain in Portland. The 29-year-old signed a new deal with the team last summer. So far, things have worked out, with Grant averaging 21.3 points, the second-highest mark of his career. Understandably, clubs around the National Basketball Association will likely make a last-ditch effort to acquire the 2014 second-round pick as the trade deadline approaches. Yet, Grant will probably stay in Portland, although he would be a viable fantasy commodity wherever he plays.

Teams Calling On Alex Caruso

According to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, teams have reached out to the Bulls regarding the availability of guard Alex Caruso. The 29-year-old has played well this season, averaging a career-high 10.0 points with 3.6 boards, 2.8 assists, and 1.3 steals. He's also logged 26.7 minutes, the second-highest mark of his career. With Zach LaVine (foot) set for season-ending surgery, Caruso could see more minutes alongside Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu. However, regardless of where the former Laker ends up after the trade deadline, he's expected to remain a capable fantasy producer, especially on the defensive end. Unfortunately, he's had issues staying healthy throughout his career, and that's not expected to change anytime soon.

LaMelo Ball Out Against Indy

Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) won't play on Sunday against the Indiana Pacers. He'll now miss his fifth consecutive contest and 26th game of the year. Like the 2022-23 campaign, Ball remains plagued by routine injuries this season. Although he's a capable producer, his inability to stay healthy is a significant issue for fantasy managers, and it doesn't appear it will improve anytime soon. That said, with Gordon Hayward (calf) still sidelined, the door is open for Brandon Miller and Miles Bridges to lead the way offensively. However, Bryce McGowens, coming off a 15-point, four-steal performance versus OKC, is worth considering for streaming purposes.
