Giddey will miss his first action of 2025 due to a quadriceps contusion. The Bulls are also dealing with other backcourt injuries, meaningTre Jonesmight run the offense in Tuesday's game with Lonzo Ball (wrist) also sidelined. Jones' fantasy stock has trended downward, but he has previously shown that he can be a quality starting point guard in the NBA. The 25-year-old has 125 career starts, averaging 12.4 points and 6.8 assists during those outings.

Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN reports that Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said guard Stephen Curry (ankle) will go through warmups before the club decides on his status for Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks. Curry is suffering from soreness in his right ankle. The 36-year-old battled through the injury in a win on Monday against the Hornets. He collected 21 points, 10 assists, three rebounds, one block and one steal over 30 minutes during the appearance. If Curry sits out against the Knicks, Brandin Podziemski and Buddy Hieldwill see expanded roles this evening.

James L. Edwards III of The Athleticreports that New York Knicks forward/centerKarl-Anthony Towns(personal) will be out against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. Towns have regularly appeared on the injury report due to a knee issue, but for tonight's contest, he is out for personal reasons. According to Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis, Indiana Pacers guard/forward Bennedict Mathurin(wrist) will be out of action for Tuesday's matchup against the Houston Rockets. He will miss his third game in a row due to a sprained left wrist. Ben SheppardandAaron Nesmith have been more involved in the rotation during Mathurin's absence. Nesmith in particular has fully capitalized on this opportunity, scoring a career-high 27 points in Sunday's win against the Chicago Bulls. Mathurin's next chance to return to the floor will be on Thursday against the Hawks.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Quentin Grimes (biceps) will play on Tuesday versus the Timberwolves. The 24-year-old has played well since his arrival in Philly, averaging a career-high 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.0 steals. He popped up on the injury report heading into Tuesday's game because of Biceps soreness. However, Grimes will be on the floor. With Tyrese Maxey (back) sidelined, the former Knick should have the ball in his hands more than usual, giving him a bump in usage. Maxey's absence could also allow Grimes to remain more involved on the offensive end.
