Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (toe) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's matchup against the Knicks. He's been out since Nov. 8, and it seems unlikely Kleber will return on Thursday. The German is recovering from a right small toe dislocation. Before getting hurt, Kleber managed to make only five appearances for the Mavericks, posting 3.4 points and 4.2 rebounds. He's never been a reliable fantasy piece, although Dallas could really use an extra big body right now, as Dereck Lively II (ankle) has also run into health issues.

Dallas Mavericks forward Grant Williams (ankle) hasn't been able to shake off a questionable tag ahead of Thursday's encounter with the Knicks. He's played in the past two games despite being on the injury report with a right ankle sprain, although Williams was limited to only seven minutes on Tuesday against the Grizzlies. The 25-year-old made a good start to his Mavericks career, but he's been quiet for quite a bit now, and it's difficult for Williams to please fantasy managers in a reserve role.

Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum (heel) will miss a fifth consecutive game Thursday versus the Knicks. The 28-year-old is trying to overcome a right plantar strain. Exum had an impressive spell in the team before getting hurt. He has averaged 14.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists as a starter this season. Josh Green has stepped into the starting five in Exum's absence, but he hasn't been a reliable source for consistent fantasy value, and Green even went scoreless in 23 minutes against Memphis on Tuesday.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (ankle) won't play on Thursday against New York. He battled through an ankle sprain in Tuesday's matchup against Memphis but will take Thursday off. Doncic's absence could result in a massive performance from Kyrie Irving, who will have all the keys to the offense. Meanwhile, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jaden Hardy should get extra burn off the bench, with Dante Exum (heel) also unavailable for the Mavericks.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Edwards played 38 minutes on Sunday with a wrap around his left knee. Given how poorly the Pistons are playing right now, the Wolves may decide to give Edwards a rest day. Fantasy managers will have to wait for another update on Wednesday. Nickeil Alexander-Walker would likely be asked to move into the starting five if Edwards sits out. He'd be worth a look as a streaming option given extended playing time.
