Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's contest against New Orleans. He's nursing a left ankle sprain, which has already kept the rookie sidelined for four games. As a young player, Lively II has been going through plenty of growing pains in his debut year, but he's done a decent job overall for Dallas as the starting center. Dwight Powell has stepped into the role in his absence and hasn't been very productive with the extra minutes.

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (toe) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Pelicans. The Mavericks have been without him since Nov. 8, but Kleber was upgraded to doubtful ahead of Thursday's clash with the Knicks, and with him being upgraded again ahead of the weekend, it looks like Kleber's return to the court isn't far away anymore. He's made only five appearances this season, registering 3.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 18.0 minutes. Kleber isn't expected to impact things in fantasy basketball.

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Josh Green (illness) is considered questionable for Saturday's clash with New Orleans. The 23-year-old is trying to fight off an illness bug. Green has just had his best performance of the season with an 18-point effort against the Knicks, which also included a pair of rebounds and three assists. He's received a starter's role and steady minutes in the absence of Luka Doncic (ankle) and Dante Exum (heel). The Mavericks backcourt will continue to be shorthanded on Saturday, giving Green another opportunity to shine if he can get healthy for the game.

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama will miss Saturday's matchup against Chicago for rest purposes. He hasn't been cleared for back-to-backs following an ankle injury, and Wembanyama tore the Hornets apart on Friday with a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double in just 20 minutes. With Zach Collins (ankle) still out, Dominick Barlow and Sandro Mamukelashvili should share the center minutes against the Bulls. Barlow has made some noise lately in limited minutes and could potentially be an option for fantasy managers on Saturday.

Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Brandon Miller failed to complete Friday's contest against San Antonio due to a lower back contusion. The second-overall pick from last year was limited to only nine minutes and one point. Miller's injury is very unfortunate for Charlotte, as the team just got LaMelo Ball back from a lengthy absence. The Hornets return to action on Sunday versus Miami, and Miller should be considered questionable for the clash. Bryce McGowens and Nick Smith Jr. are the candidates to step up in his absence, although they aren't very reliable sources of fantasy value.
