What is going on everyone, throughout the year I am going to have these articles posted live on FTNBets.com to break down some of my favorite prop bets of the night. My plan is to use my model to determine where the best edges are in comparison to the props markets.
The number of picks I provide will vary each day, but my goal is to provide at least 2-3 picks that are backed by my model’s numbers and provide some explanation as to why I like the bet, or how the model got to its conclusion. Let’s get into the picks!
Grayson Allen o13.5 Points
(-110, Caesars, Projection: 19.26 points)
Allen has done a great job stepping in for the injured Khris Middleton, and even after Jrue Holiday returned Allen’s scoring production remained consistent. He has scored 19 or more in three straight games and is averaging nearly 16 on the year.
Devin Vassell o10.5 Points
(-105, Caesars, Projection: 15.3 Points)
This should be a great environment for scoring, as both teams are in the top 7 in pace so far this season. Devin Vassell has stepped up as of late, scoring 12 points or more in 3 of his last 4, and the model has him for north of 15 tonight.
Myles o12.5 Points
(-106, FanDuel, Projection: 16.57 points)
Caris LeVert has been ruled out, and he has been dominating usage in this Indiana offense, Malcolm Brogdon is expected to play, but so far this season with Levert off the floor and Brogdon on, Myle Turner is averaging over 19 points per 36 minutes.
