Thursdays are typically a light day in the NBA, and that holds true this week as well. I was able to find a few best bets with edges from our FTNBets player prop tool. Here are two of my favorite bets for Thursday in the association.
Best NBA Points Prop Bet
Marvin Bagley Over 13.5 Points
Marvin Bagley hopped into the starting lineup in his second game back from injury. He saw 29 minutes and had 16 points. Part of the jump can be attributed to him moving into the starting lineup. The other part was Isaiah Stewart getting injured and playing less than 15 minutes. Stewart is out again, so I would expect Bagley to see the same or possibly even more court time today. If so, he should be able to top the numbers he put up last game, which would clear this number.
Best NBA Assist Prop Bet
Damian Lillard Over 7.5 Assists
This opened at 6.5 and has been hammered to at least -140 anywhere that number is available. FanDuel has the best payout on over 7.5 at +117. Damian Lillard had 11 and 12 assists in the last two games. He draws a Brooklyn defense that is still burning after the Sacramento Kings torched them last game for 153 points. Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox had 9 assists in just 24 minutes of action. I would expect another big night from Dame in this spot.
