Welcome to Hoops with Noops! It’s time for a TNT Tuesday night of NBA action full of good basketball and former players complaining about the state of the league.
I love the Inside the NBA crew when they are talking about basketball or making fun of one another, but nothing gets me to change the channel faster than complaints about how the league was better decades ago. I’m sure it was more fun for them because they were young, virile athletes at the peak of their game, but have they forgotten how awful and low-scoring games used to be? Are they pining for us to go back to the age of big man holding the ball in the post for entire possessions? I have never enjoyed NBA basketball more in my life, and it seems to be getting better all the time. So, let’s stay positive, be happy that the NBA is stocked full of incredible athletes and devoid of guys like Robert Traylor and Eddy Curry, and enjoy some of the greatest athletes in the world playing the greatest sport in the world.
While we’re at it, let’s even win some money. Here’s my best bet of the night.
