Los Angeles Lakers point guard Luka Doncic scored a game-high 31 points on 9-for-20 shooting in Tuesday's 94-85 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Scoring came hard for most players on the night, but Doncic made it back-to-back 30-point efforts for himself in the series, hitting 2-for-8 from downtown and 11-for-11 at the charity stripe. He nearly had a triple-double, finishing with 12 rebounds and nine assists. It seems the Timberwolves players will have nightmares of Doncic for the second consecutive year, as he has averaged 34.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists through the first two games of the series.

Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Maxi Kleber (foot) will not be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The German veteran continues to recover from foot surgery. Kleber has not seen any action since Jan. 25, but his return appears to be approaching, as he has been practicing. However, it remains unclear whether Kleber will have a significant role with the Lakers since he has yet to play for his new team. When he was still in Dallas, Kleber averaged 3.0 points and 2.8 rebounds in 18.7 minutes this season.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Rui Hachimura (knee) is expected to be in the lineup for Saturday's Game 1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, as the team has not listed him on the injury report. Hachimura has spent a large chunk of the campaign on the injury report, but he appears to be fully healthy for the most important part of the season. He has missed three of the last six games, including the regular-season finale last Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Although health issues have significantly disrupted Hachimura's season, he has performed well when in the lineup, averaging 13.1 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in 31.7 minutes.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves (ankle) will rejoin the lineup on Saturday for Game 1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Lakers held Reaves out of their regular-season finale due to a right ankle sprain. However, he has been removed from the injury report before the start of the playoffs. Reaves has had a fantastic year with the Lakers and will enter the postseason with very positive momentum. He has averaged 23.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game this month, shooting a phenomenal 52.9 percent from beyond the arc.

He did not play in the team's regular-season finale due to left quadriceps soreness. Last year, Doncic was outstanding in a series against the Timberwolves and is expected to deliver big performances again. The Slovenian superstar closed out the regular season in great form, averaging 31.8 points for April with 45.3 percent shooting from downtown.
