Asinine phantom fouls aside, the tilt, which Denver prevailed in, captivated all who watched. What will the encore have in store? More than likely a heavy dose of Dame dimes. The guard reached double-figures in assists in four of the series’ five games. With Michael Malone surely hell-bent on controlling Lillard, he could turn more facilitator than scorer in Game 6. Over the entire season he’s amassed an absurd 76 assists in eight battles versus the West rival. Denver did rank No. 27 during the regular season in opponent assists-to-field-goals made. Side with the recency bias and get burned, in a good way.
