NBA Prop Bet of the Day

Grayson Allen OVER 2.5 made threes at Portland (+125, DraftKings

On the road against one of the NBA’s more affectionate defenses, Allen is about to get busy in a Burger King bathroom. His nose may be big like a pickle, but he’ll still get backers paid (RIP, Shock G). Though splitting time with Dillon Brooks at shooting guard for the Grizz, the former Blue Devil should log enough meaningful minutes to exceed the proposed total. Outside a limited 26-minute stint against the LA Clippers Wednesday, a game in which he scored just six points on four total shots, Allen has experienced an uptick in overall production. He’s swished at least three triples in five of his last six games. Portland, notoriously accommodating on defense ranking No. 29 in adjusted defensive efficiency and No. 18 in three-point percentage D, presents a terrific matchup. According to the FTN Daily advanced DvP tool, the Blazers are the ninth-best opponent against meaningful off-the-bench producers. In other words, whether Allen starts is irrelevant. As long as he registers at least 25 minutes, his odds of cashing are significant.
