NBA Prop Bet of the Day

Tyrese Haliburton OVER 4.5 assists at Phoenix (-105, FanDuel

Whether you’re tossing actual Benjamins or freshly printed Ushers, chasing the standout rookie’s assists total is worth a stack. The proposed line is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum and sprinkled with a pinch of mystery. Honestly, the total leaves onlookers familiar with Haliburton’s production somewhat baffled. Yes, evidence tied to the matchup points to a different outcome. Phoenix ranks No. 5 in adjusted defensive efficiency, No. 2 in fewest assists allowed per game and, according to the FTN Daily DvP tool, the Suns are the fifth-worst dance partner for a dimer. Still, the rising King, who’s averaged 31.3 minutes played this month, has reached five assists in five of his last six contests. So far in April, he’s tallied 6.0 dimes per game. Not to be outdone, he also topped the number in back-to-back battles against Phoenix in December, recording five and six assists. In a game with a proposed 231.5 total, he’s an outstanding bet to yet again dole out the dishes.
