We’re in the heart of the NBA season now, and that means we have tons of new stats, tools and information to dive into. This article will present you with five actionable stats in order to help you with the night’s NBA DFS slate of games.
Let’s get into some actionable stats for Thursday’s slate that will help you build your best lineups.
1. 38.1
Luka Doncic has a massive 38.1% usage rate this season and is coming off a historic game in which he posted 60 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists. He now gets to play the Houston Rockets, who…
2. 28th
This second stat plays nicely off the first one, the Rockets rank 28th in defense so far this season, setting up to be a great matchup for Luka and the rest of the Mavs players.
3. 26%
28.4% is the usage rate that RJ Barrett is vacating here for the Knicks, as he will be out due to injury. He’s played a ton of minutes this season, so we don’t have a ton of great data, but in a very limited time Jalen Brunson has a 30.4% usage rate with Barrett off the floor, while Julius Randle goes up to 29.7% and Quentin Grimes goes up to 18%. The talk of the town will be Immanuel Quickley, however. This season, Quickley has a 20% usage rate and a FPPM right around 0.9, but should see extended time and involvement, especially if he gets the start for Barrett.
4. 6
Darius Bazley has only seen 20-plus minutes six times this season. He has been sort of shoved down the depth chart here this season, but with Aleksej Pokusevski out, there’s a good chance we see extended run for Bazley who averaging 0.9 DK FPPM so far this season, who know has a great matchup against Charlotte.
5. 1.21
We haven’t seen him a ton this year, but in his 92 minutes Robert Williams is averaging 1.21 FPPM. We know he can be a strong per minute producer, and if he is able to get some more minutes here, he could really cash in on that $4.3k DK price.
