2024-2025 Fantasy NBA Best Ball Diary (Oct. 16)

Share

It’s officially NBA best ball season! Back in August, my top 200 Underdog ranks dropped for free on FTN Fantasy and, just like last season, they will remain free throughout the lead-up to opening night Oct. 22. Make sure you check back into that rankings list frequently, as I’ve been making weekly updates on Fridays.

Speaking of Fridays, you can also join me live every Friday at 1 p.m. ET on the FTN Fantasy YouTube channel for some Underdog NBA Best Ball drafts! Here’s a link to last Friday’s stream if you want to listen back to over two hours of the most recent strategy talk.

In this bi-weekly article, I will discuss any developing trends, ADP shifts and strategies that I’m using in my own drafts. As has been the case for the last three years, this series of articles will once again be for FTN Fantasy subscribers only.

Draft season is the best season, so saddle up at Underdog Fantasy and if you’re a first-time depositor you can get a 100% deposit match bonus up to $1,000 with promo code FTN at sign up!

October 16 Update

We’re just under a week away from the regular season tipping off, and the best ball lobbies are hopping. Slow drafts have closed as of Tuesday morning, but the entirety of the NBA fanbase has awoken with the start of the season on top of us and the “Double Dribble” drafts are flying as the tournament is now more than 70% full. Let’s run through some of the big news items that came across since we last convened.
