Verizon 200 DFS breakdown

NASCAR head to Indiana Sunday for the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard, and I’m here to break down the race for DFS. The Cup Series will visit the Indianapolis road course for the first time, so there is no history to go on here.

What we do have are a few drivers who have raced here multiple times in the Xfinity Series. Qualifying is just before the race Sunday morning and out of fairness to you the subscribers, I want to get the content to you with more than just a 90-minute window to contest lock. I strongly recommend that you follow our Discord channel with post-qualifying updates.

(Take advantage of the FTNFantasy Platinum package for the 2021 season!)

These rankings are based on practice and overall performance at recent road courses. Chase Elliott at a road course is going to be the heaviest chalk you see at any race. I will be ranking my top drivers in each salary tier for each week’s race to help you construct that GPP-winning lineup.

For this week’s race, I have six guys in the top tier that I’m banking on. I also have quite a few inexpensive drivers that I think can contribute to a winning lineup.

High-salaried drivers

  • Chase Elliott
  • Martin Truex Jr.
  • Kyle Larson
  • Christopher Bell
  • Austin Cindric
  • Joey Logano

Mid-priced drivers

  • Chase Briscoe
  • A.J. Allmendinger
  • Ross Chastain
  • Tyler Reddick
  • Ryan Blaney

Values

  • Matt DiBenedetto
  • Austin Dillon
  • Michael McDowell
  • Corey LaJoie
  • Erik Jones
  • Ryan Newman

My core will consist of a majority of place differential drivers. I am high on Truex this weekend, as he really showed out in practice, and Cindric, as he is a multi-time winner here and will be in strong equipment. Follow the channel in Discord for updates leading up to race time.

Make sure to check out the FTN cheat sheets for expert’s ownership percentages. See you at the top of the leaderboards.
