This weekend marks the return to the intermediate tracks that make up the majority of the NASCAR schedule. Texas Motor Speedway is a low-wear track with similarities to Charlotte, Las Vegas, and Kansas. The series is running the 550 HP package so these rankings will be created looking back on the similar track types with the same racing package. I’m banking on six drivers in the top tier for this week’s race. I also have quite a few inexpensive drivers I think can contribute to a winning lineup. Here are my rankings for FanDuel plays:
High-Salaried Drivers
- Kyle Larson
- Denny Hamlin
- Kyle Busch
- Martin Truex Jr
- Ryan Blaney
- Kevin Harvick
Mid-priced drivers
- William Byron
- Kurt Busch
- Austin Dillon
- Brad Keselowski
- Tyler Reddick
- Aric Almirola
Valued Contributors
- Ricky Stenhouse Jr
- Matt DiBenedetto
- Bubba Wallace
- Ryan Newman
- Corey Lajoie
My core will consist of William Byron, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Kyle Larson. I will have one of either Denny Hamlin or Kyle Busch in the core too. On FanDuel, the salary for Kevin Harvick puts him squarely in play for the place differential points.
