Week 2 Platoon Splits

The playing time chart below features teams that are projected to face more than three right-handed pitchers or two left-handed pitchers in the week ahead. Many managers set lineups and batting orders to optimize their players’ strengths and effectiveness against lefty or righty pitchers. Many platoon setups remain fluid throughout the season as some hitters work their way into full-time work, facing both LHPs and RHPs. But most hitters with extreme splits against pitchers of the same handedness end up mired in platoons.
