PrizePicks for September 9

There are plenty of different baseball props to choose from Wednesday on PrizePicks, and there’s a lot of money to be made. You can pick your choice of MLB, NBA, NHL, MMA, NASCAR and LOL. There’s also NFL props for Thursday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. As you’ll see below, I’ll be focusing on MLB and NHL with today’s picks.

Speaking of “PrizePicks,” it is a creative new way to parlay picks based on expected fantasy point production.

The format is simple. You pick two, three or four players and predict whether or not they will go over or under their projected fantasy point total.

When parlaying the players, the larger your parlay, the better the payout:

Two-pick entry pays 2.5x (max entry: $400)
Three-pick entry pays 5x (max entry: $200)
Four-pick entry pays 10x (max entry: $100)

As a bonus offer, there is a “flex play” option if you choose to run a four-man parlay. This will provide some security, as you can earn 1.5x your buy-in if three of your four picks hit.

Below are my top PrizePicks for Wednesday’s slate in MLB and NHL. I will be mixing and matching my pick combinations from the pool below, with my favorite combination(s) also included.

Jose Abreu and Mike Trout have some big prop totals, but both players have combined for 23 home runs against right-handed pitchers. Trout’s 13 is tied for the league-high and he’ll see pitches from Kyle Cody who enters with a 43 FB% and 57 HH%. He also won’t pitch deep into the game, which means we’ll see a Rangers bullpen that has the eighth-highest ERA on the season at 4.95.
