Fantasy managers and DFS players should avoid Vasquez as a streaming option this evening as he will face a tough Arizona lineup that has hit right-handed pitching quite well this season with an excellent .788 OPS.

The Dominican makes for a shaky fantasy streamer, with his last MLB start coming back on Aug. 8.

In his four innings of work, he gave up only one earned run on five hits while striking out one and walking one. Thankfully, the 25-year-old avoided any structural damage in his arm and will not even miss a turn through the rotation. Still, he'll be a bit more risky for fantasy managers in deeper leagues against Arizona. Since returning to the Padres from Triple-A El Paso on June 1, Vasquez has gone 2-1 with a 4.20 ERA and 1.60 WHIP with 19 K's and nine walks in six starts covering 30 innings. He had a quality start in his first meeting with the D-backs on June 6, when he allowed three earned runs in 6 2/3 innings for a no-decision.
