Welcome to PrizePicks, PGA Tour edition. This week, we’ll be taking a look at the third major of the year, the U.S. Open.

How to play PrizePicks golf

If you’re new to PrizePicks in general, checkout the PrizePicks App Review by FTN’s Tyler Loechner. In terms of how it works for PGA, each golfer is given a projected score for each round of the tournament. Projections will vary based on what par is at each given course. You have to parlay at least two picks with at least one over, and one under in order to submit. The payouts are as follows:

  • Two-pick Power Play pays 3x (max entry: $400)
  • Three-pick Power Play pays 5x (max entry: $200)
  • Four-pick Power Play pays 10x (max entry: $100)

There is also a “Flex Play” option, in which you don’t have to get every pick correct, but the payout is slightly less.

Results from R2 of the US Open PGA PrizePicks (12-12):

  • Brooks Koepka UNDER 71.5 — LOSS
  • Jon Rahm OVER 71.5 — LOSS
  • Xander Schauffele UNDER 71.5 — WIN
  • Dustin Johnson UNDER 72.0 — LOSS

PrizePicks PGA picks: Round 2 at the U.S. Open

With the first two rounds in the books, the field is now shaved down to 71 golfers. In the second round of play, there were 24 golfers who shot a 70 or below. This number will be one to keep in mind when going through the picks. The cut line ended up being +4, so a pair of 73s got golfers through to the weekend. It looks like clear skies for the final two days of play, with winds peaking just below 10 mph. Let’s get to the picks.
