Welcome to PrizePicks, PGA Tour edition! This week, we’ll be taking a look at the Valspar Championship. The course is a par 71 that has historically played difficult. This was a tournament that was completely taken off the schedule due to the changes last season. Paul Casey is the defending champ, as he won the event in both 2019 and 2018. Looking at the first round of 2019, 28 golfers shot a sub-70. The PrizePicks projections for the first round range from just 69-70.
How To Play PrizePicks Golf
If you’re new to PrizePicks in general, checkout the PrizePicks App Review by FTN’s Tyler Loechner. In terms of how it works for PGA, each golfer is given a projected score for each round of the tournament. Projections will vary based off of what par is at each given course. You have to parlay at least two picks with at least one over, and one under in order to submit. The payouts are as follows:
- Two-pick Power Play pays 3x (max entry: $400)
- Three-pick Power Play pays 5x (max entry: $200)
- Four-pick Power Play pays 10x (max entry: $100)
There is also a “Flex Play” option, in which you don’t have to get every pick correct, but the payout is slightly less.
