There are plenty of different props to choose from on PrizePicks, and there’s a lot of money to be made. You can pick your choice of MLB, NHL, CBB, NBA, PGA, MMA, tennis, soccer and more. As you’ll see below, I’ll be focusing on NHL.

Speaking of “PrizePicks,” it is a creative new way to parlay picks based on expected fantasy point production. To dive into the ins and outs of everything PrizePicks, FTN’s Tyler Loechner wrote a comprehensive App Review.

How to play PrizePicks NHL

The format is simple. You pick two, three or four players and predict whether they will go over or under their projected fantasy point total.

When parlaying the players, the larger your parlay, the better the payout:

  • Two-pick entry pays 2.5x (max entry: $400)
  • Three-pick entry pays 5x (max entry: $200)
  • Four-pick entry pays 10x (max entry: $100)

As a bonus offer, there is a “flex play” option if you choose to run a four-man parlay. This will provide some security, as you can earn 1.5x your buy-in if three of your four picks hit.

Below are my top PrizePicks for Wednesday’s slate in the NHL. I will be mixing and matching my pick combinations from the pool below, with my favorite combinations also included.

Scoring breakdown for PrizePicks contests can be found here.

NHL PrizePicks for today

Here's a look at my favorite picks on PrizePicks Wednesday.

Patrice Bergeron (4.6 fantasy points) and David Pastrnak (4.5) — OVER

The Bruins had 70 shot attempts in Game 2 against the Capitals, and it was the first line that carried the way. Bergeron and Pastrnak combined for 16 shot attempts, 10 shots and two points. That line had 13 high-danger scoring chances and just one against at 5v5.

NHL

  • David Pastrnak (4.5 fantasy points) — OVER
  • Leon Draisaitl (4.5 fantasy points) — OVER
  • Mikko Rantanen (5 fantasy points) — OVER
  • Patrice Bergeron (4.6 fantasy points) — OVER
  • Sebastian Aho (4.4 fantasy points) — OVER
  • Kyle Connor (3.6 fantasy points) — OVER
