Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (back) was able to take batting practice ahead of Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals. The veteran outfielder landed on the injured list in mid-April due to a back issue. The timetable for Yelich has been a bit unclear, but the organization gave positive news on Monday. Brewers' manager Pat Murphy said that Yelich taking batting practice was likely his final step in his recovery process.
