Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try and identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Sandy Alcantara Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+138, FanDuel)

The super-talented Miami Marlins pitching staff has hit a few bumpy steps lately, but that doesn't mean we should be shying away from any and all matchups. Peep the greatness of former-Cardinal-turned-Marlin Sandy Alcantara. He faces a Phillies team that has a 27.2% strikeout rate, and his 29.5% called plus swinging-strike rate is among the league's best. I love pounding the over here.

Jesús Aguilar to Hit a Home Run (+450, William Hill)

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that Aguilar has been one of the league's best hitters — he owns a .525 slugging percentage this season, and he's actually been smashing same-sided right-handed pitchers for a 148 wRC+. Interesting, Vince Velasquez, Thursday’s starting pitcher for the Phillies, has been hit similarly hard by righties — they've popped him for a 37.8% hard-hit rate on the year. With a strong breeze flying out, I like Aguilar to pop one.
