Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try to identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Marcus Stroman Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-128, BetMGM)

After taking the 2020 season off, Stroman has appeared to successfully refine his craft even further, and is has been in absolute beast mode this season. While he sports a fairly modest 21.7% strikeout rate, Stroman has been absolutely a terror to make solid contact against. Even better is the matchup with the Cubbies — over the last two weeks they rank fourth worst in team wOBA and rock a 27% strikeout rate.

F3 Atlanta Braves (-114, DraftKings)

If you live in a state where you can hit a same-game parlay on FanDuel, please take advantage of this. This game feels like a massive mismatch, as John Gant has been horrendous as of late for the Cardinals. In his most recent outing, he recorded only four outs and did manage to walk five batters. This seems like a true recipe for a disaster, as the Braves pounded Boston pitching in a two-game set. Now, fold in the fact that SunTrust field ranks in the top-10 in park factor and home run factor, and this feels like a very cashable bet.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to Hit a Home Run (+360, DraftKings)

I’m going to be really honest here — I have no clue how the Major League leader in home runs has worse odds to homer than Marcus Semien, but here we are. The current Triple Crown leader with a ridiculous .348 batting average and 50 runs and RBI each, Vladi Daddy has been torching opposing pitching this season. Now, he faces Mason King, who’s been pretty mediocre, along with a below-average Yankee bullpen in Sahlen Field. Gimme.
