Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try and identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Tyler Glasnow Over 8.5 Strikeouts (+108, FanDuel)

Glasnow has been incredible this season, striking out 98 batters in 70 innings, and he really hasn’t shown many signs of slowing down. That’s a scary proposition for the Yankees, who are downright awful at the dish as of late. Over the last two weeks, the Yankees, with this alleged unlimited offensive firepower, are sixth worst in team wOBA and have a whopping 27.6% strikeout rate. Grab this bet before it soars.

Sonny Gray Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+120, BetMGM)

I’m a firm believer in the resurgence of Sonny Gray in Cincinnati, and against this rough Philadelphia Phillies squad, I am definitely buying in. Over Gray’s last two starts, he’s averaged better than a strikeout per inning and allowed only two earned runs over 12 innings pitched. And the Phillies? That is one bad baseball team. With a few mainstays in the lineup out, they rank third-worst in baseball in terms of team wOBA, and also pair that with a near-28% strikeout rate.

Andrew Heaney Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-125, BetMGM)

I know I know I know – the UNDER stinks. I get it. But the Giants wallop lefties, and are equally tough to whiff, too. While they do sport an elevated K rate overall, they turn into monsters at the dish with a southpaw on the mound, sporting an 18% K rate. That’s a massive cut from their 25% mark for season long, and show’s their overall prowess. While Heaney has been really good in whiffs, he has struggled overall. I like the under here.
